Project modules
The Deliberative Diets project is divided into five “modules” that collectively adopt a research approach that mixes diverse scientific disciplines while emphasizing the active participation of stakeholders. We warmly invite you explore the project through the links below. And whether you’re a researcher on a similar topic, a practitioner striving for change or a citizen who is concerned with the way things are headed, feel free to get in touch and let us know what you think.
Valuation: Assessing how visions of transformation will affect the values people hold for the agroecosystems they are part of, live from, reside in and interact with.
Sustainability: Bringing it all together to assess the sustainability of these transformative visions and decide on a path forward.
Modelling: Understanding the big picture by modelling the multidimensional impacts of the entire Swiss food system at an aggregate level.
Transformations: Collectively reflect on current practices from producing to consuming and amplify marginalized voices calling for and practicing a fundamental transformation.
Deliberations: Conducting workshops with Swiss citizens to deliberate about the findings, develop future scenarios and policy recommendations to enact change.
